Calls for inputs and ideas

Content
Having grown and developed into a Township bustling with a myriad of activities carried out by the local people as well as tourists, Chogoria, which started as Church Mission Station, indeed has a unique and most remarkable history, backed by iconic structures, which are quite well-preserved and beautifully maintained. A call for ideas on how to ensure the longevity of these gems, that represent our beginnings as a conglomerate of this civic environment will be sent out soon. This will include posting online of the Quinquennial Report that was done to guide the restoration programme. Your inputs will be highly appreciated. To highlight a few of these diamonds, there is the Old Church sanctuary (recently renovated to review a beautiful façade and shining roof), Dr Irvine's house and its curtilage, other doctors houses, The old part of the Hospital, The original Post Office, The injection and dressing Unit at The Hospital gate, The Chogoria Boys High School stone Monument, Church Bell, Mambere Hall (with the mind to find the Cockerel or rooster wind Vane that majestically stood on the roof), and any other artifacts and built structures we can identify..
