There are quite a number of explanations out there about how the name "Chogoria" came to be. Where did the name come from? Ntigukuuria? Does that resonate with a foreigner trying to repeat what he heard in a crowd and hence mispronounce it into "Choogooria"? Apparently, even as oddly funny as that may sound its one of the theories touted by some people as the source...! What about you...what have you heard?
