Welcome Note by Chairman of the Foundation
- The Grand launch of this website was made by the inaugural Chairman of the Foundation Obadiah Mbaya Kanampiu.
- Dear Chogorians. What a wonderful time it is for us to launch a much-needed forum for all of us to come together and celebrate our community and our beautiful land that we call HOME. I want to welcome you all to the launch of the Chogoria Foundation. You probably are wondering what the foundation is all about. The Chogoria Foundation is the sequel to the recently celebrated Centennial Year 1922 which was marked by many Chogorians and friends from all over the world in Praise and Worship and many other activities including the bikeathon from Mwea to Chogoria. This being my very first address to you as the inaugural Chairman I want to invite you to register with us, (See details in CONTACT US) and participate in the many activities that we intend to bring to your attention regularly in the EVENTS section. Karibuni sana and this being the Christmas Season I want to be the first to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I would also like to thank John Carr Irvine from Vancouver B.C Canada who gave of his time and finances to set up the website.. John is the First Son of Anthony Irvine who was the eldest son of. Dr .and Mrs. Irvine. His cousin and eldest son of Kenneth Irvine (last born son of Dr. Irvine attended the Centennial celebrations with us and made a speech on behalf of the Irvine family.
